

OUR COMPANY
Founded in 2019 in Nîmes, Drone Geofencing develops a solution to supervise a fleet (or swarm) of multi-domain drones from a control center.
The team consists of engineers and PhDs specializing in software development, microelectronics, and radio frequencies.
Drone Geofencing works closely with several CNRS and CIRA research teams, drone manufacturers, and major contractors.
They invested €1.4 million in 2023

“An engineer by training (computer science, electronics, and automation), I held operational management positions (planning, engineering, operations, sales) at several telecommunications operators (SITA, Orange Business Services) for 12 years.
In 2008, I took charge of the funding consultancy Monte Cristo Consulting (fundraising, public grants) before joining the software publisher Virdys (augmented reality, virtual reality) in 2016.”

“A graduate of NEOMA Business School and holder of a certified public accountant diploma, I worked for the firm EY in Paris for 11 years within the statutory audit, internal control advisory, internal audit, and risk management teams.
In 2006, I joined the Imerys group, where I established the Risk and Internal Control department and led its operations.”

Under the signed research agreement, several of the university's research laboratories are involved:

The LIRMM (UMR 5506) works on AI algorithms applied to real-time aerial imaging, the development of a proprietary codec, targeting technologies, and swarm guidance algorithms.
